「ラク」は、日本発祥の陶芸技法の一種です。　多くのマオリ族やアオテアロア・ニュージーランド在住の職人たちは、この日本の楽焼技法とマオリ族のモチーフや粘土のデザインを融合させ、独自の芸術作品を生み出している。　

「ウェヌア」は、はマオリ語で、主に土地、国、または地面を意味します。地球や領土という物理的な意味を超えて、胎盤や後産とも独特の意味を共有しています。この二重の意味は、すべての生命がパパトゥアヌク（大地の母）の子宮から生まれるという、マオリ族と大地との深く共生的な関係を反映しています。

Raku is a type of pottery-making originating from Japan. Many Māori and Aotearoa-based artisans blend this firing technique with Māori motifs and clay designs to create unique artwork.

WHENUA is a Māori word that primarily translates to land, country, or ground.
Beyond its physical definition as earth or territory, it uniquely shares its meaning with placenta or afterbirth. This dual meaning reflects the deep, symbiotic relationship Māori have with the earth, where all life is born from the womb of Papatūānuku (the earth mother).
